Flight & Photography

A certified pilot with a photographer's eye.

I began photography in high school and am now a 500px China certified photographer. I am also a CAAC and AOPA certified drone pilot with experience flying DJI Phantom 3, DJI Inspire series, DJI Mini 2, DJI Mini 5 Pro, and DJI Mavic 3 Pro.

Flying gives me a different way to understand landscape, motion, weather, control, and composition. Photography is how I practice attention to light, scale, and timing.

Aerial Practice

Flight as observation, control, and composition.

Drone work connects technical flight judgment with image-making: altitude, route, weather, framing, and safety all become part of the final photograph.
